Beauty Behind Bars is a program Honey Art Studio hosts to highlight art from artists who are incarcerated. In collaboration with SF SF Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and SF Foundation, Honey Art Studio has been funded to provide compensation to Artists and Curators who are incarcerated. In turn, many of the artists send money home to help family and loved ones to contribute to household expenses. Many of the artists seek opportunities to help relieve the financial burdens that their families encumber due to a significant member of the family being incarcerated.

Honey Art Studio has hosted virtual galleries that showcase artists' artwork and HAS will create a coloring/ painting book created by artists who are incarcerated.
